Read our Monthly Newsletter
As a service to our clients we are providing this Monthly Newsletter. We are able to provide this newsletter through our affiliation with the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Although this information was not written by a member of our staff, we believe it to be a useful resource for general tax and financial planning.
For more specific information pertinent to our clients needs and issues related to our local tax laws, we provide our Need to Know section as well as our Numbers for 2010 available on this Web site.
Please remember that we are always available to discuss whether the information provided in the monthly newsletter is relevant to your specific needs and would be happy to help you with implementation if applicable.
Follow the link to a worksheet designed to fill in form W-4. You should complete Form W-4 so your employer can withhold the correct Federal income tax from your pay.
Go to http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4.pdf for a fill in version of the current form W-4.
Because your tax situation may change, you may want to refigure your withholding each year. Failure to withhold the proper amount of tax from your paycheck could cause a large balance due to the IRS when you file your taxes, or an excessively large refund (which is like giving the IRS an interest free loan).
Please contact us if you wish to discuss any item on this Web site.
